Effective measures for high-speed and high-efficiency grinding with high flexibility and high automation include automatic feed, automatic grinding cycle, automatic measurement, automatic dressing, automatic wheel balance, automatic indexing and automatic loading and unloading, etc.. With the development of CNC grinding machines, the grinding and machining center is also developing rapidly. It has on-line measurement, automatic exchange of grinding wheels, automatic exchange of workpieces, automatic dressing of grinding wheels, unmanned workpiece loading and unloading. The grinding center also has robots, transporting workpiece trolleys and coolant. The use of CBN superabrasives has greatly advanced the development of high speed and ultra high speed grinding technology.
